Cayuga Information Session | Webinar for Lansing Residents

This meeting is intended to give Lansing residents the chance to hear from those who completed the independent assessment of the Cayuga Data Campus.

Joining the TeraWulf team will be:

  • Professor Sarah Kreps
    Chair of the Independent Advisory Council and faculty member at Cornell’s Brooks School. Sarah assembled and led the independent review team and oversaw the Council’s evaluation of fiscal impacts, environmental considerations, community concerns, and long-term community-benefit structures.

  • Professor Chris Earls
    J. Preston Levis Professor of Engineering at Cornell University and a member of the Independent Advisory Council. Chris is a nationally recognized expert in computational engineering, applied mathematics, and system-level modeling. His background includes extensive work in environmental modeling, sensing, and uncertainty analysis—experience directly relevant to reviewing infrastructure, noise modeling, and environmental impacts. He contributed to the Council’s technical review of the project.

  • Brett Reichert, PhD Candidate
    Brett Reichert is a U.S. Army Goodpaster Fellow and PhD student in Public Policy at Cornell University. His research examines how emerging military technology affects conflict dynamics and the use of force. He holds a Master of Policy Management from Georgetown University. Before joining Cornell, Brett was a Bradly Fellow assigned to the 19th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the 40th Army Chief of Staff.

  • Mike Mager, Couch White LLP
    An energy attorney who will explain how electricity pricing works in New York and answer questions about what large energy users do – and do not – mean for residential electric bills.
